Earplugs for concerts and festivals: DeciBlock, hearing protection designed for nights out
DeciBlock earplugs reduce sound levels by 24 dB without cutting out the music. Designed by Capote2Verre for festivals, concerts and nights out, they protect your hearing while keeping the sound clear and balanced. They come in packs of 3, 5 or 10 pairs, and organisers can order them as custom-branded earplugs with their logo.
Why wear earplugs at a festival?
Near the speakers, a concert or club night often reaches 100 to 110 dB. At that level, your ears tire quickly, and repeated exposure can cause tinnitus or permanent hearing loss. The World Health Organization estimates that more than a billion young people aged 12 to 35 are at risk of hearing loss from exposure to loud sounds, particularly at venues with amplified music.
With 24 dB of attenuation, a sound of 100 to 110 dB is brought down to around 76 to 86 dB. You still hear the music, the voices and the atmosphere, but your ears work in a much more comfortable range, and you can enjoy the show for longer.

Where can you use noise-reducing earplugs?
DeciBlock is there whenever the volume goes up: music festivals, concerts, clubs and nightclubs, bars, student nights, stadium matches, motor racing or fireworks. Their small size also makes them handy on noisy public transport or in an open-plan office.
Custom-branded earplugs for organisers and brands
In France, since Decree No. 2017-1244 of 7 August 2017, venues and events playing amplified music must limit sound levels to 102 dB(A) averaged over 15 minutes, inform the public about the risks to hearing, provide quiet zones or rest periods for the ears, and make individual hearing protection available to the public free of charge. Handing out earplugs is therefore one of the legal obligations of festivals, concert venues, nightclubs and music bars.
With custom-branded DeciBlock earplugs, this obligation also becomes a communication tool. Your logo is printed in full colour on the individual sachet, in a 4.5 x 4.5 cm area, and you choose the earplug colour from five options to match your brand identity. Festivals, students' unions, prevention charities, councils, health insurers and businesses hand them out at the entrance, at the bar or in welcome packs.
Branded earplugs can be ordered from 1,000 units, and branding is free from 3,000 units. In our online Customisation Studio, you upload your logo, see a live preview on the product, choose the quantity and order directly. For a larger project, you can also request a quote.

DeciBlock earplugs: frequently asked questions
Can you still hear the music with DeciBlock earplugs?
Yes. The filter reduces the volume by 24 dB in a balanced way: the music stays clear, it is just quieter, which limits ear fatigue all night long.
How long can you use one pair?
A pair can be reused several times over a short period, for example during a festival or a weekend. For hygiene reasons, you then switch to a new pair, protected in its own sachet.
Can you order earplugs with your logo?
Yes, from 1,000 units: logo printed in full colour on the sachet, a choice of earplug colours and an online preview before you order.
